Leona Lewis signs £1m publishing deal

Leona Lewis has signed a six-figure publishing deal with BMG Right Management.

They will administer the rights to songs on her latest album 'Echo', as well as her future songwriting. A source described it as a "really good deal" for Leona, and predicted it would eventually earn her £1 million. I guess this means that drinks are on Leona next time, right??

Kerry Katona has pulled off a masterstroke, signing a management deal with Claire Powell.

Powell heads up CAN Associates, the PR company that masterminded the Katie Price and Peter Andre marriage, and his successful solo career since they dumped Katie last year. It could provide a massive turnaround in fortunes for bankrupt and washed-up Kerry, but there are conditions attached to the deal. Claire explains: "There will be no drugs and no Mark Croft. She has signed a legal document agreeing to that." Sounds like a terrific idea to me!!!!

Jeff Brazier is 'Superdaddy'

Jeff Brazier has landed his own series this summer on Living TV called 'Superdaddy'.

The programme will follow him helping warring parents who have separated communicate better and raise their children together while living apart. Jeff claims that his relationship with the late Jade Goody qualifies him to help other ex-couples learn to co-parent, with one pal saying: "Jeff was on a roller-coaster with Jade but they made a success of single parenting."

John Barrowman: "I dye my hair"

Botox-fan John Barrowman has confessed that he has to resort to hair dye to keep looking youthful, revealing that his hair would be totally white if he didn't colour it. He tells 'Attitude':

"My hair's only still the same colour because of the bottle. I'm completely white. My partner Scott and I tested it out a couple of years back. I shaved my head and let it grow and no one saw it.
I let it come out grey to see if it was time to let my hair go back to its natural colour. He looked at me and said: 'I'm not so ready for that yet'. And he's older than me. He's 47 this year but looks like he's 20."

Making the effort to stay young is worth it - he just scored a role on 'Desperate Housewives'!

Melinda: "Ian Wright made me quit job"

After Ian Wright spoke out yesterday to criticise his former 'Live from Studio Five' co-host Melinda Messenger as "annoying", it was just a matter of time before the ex-model reacted.

The angry blonde bombshell raged: "Our working relationship became intolerable."

Later, her agent clarified: "Melinda was disappointed by the comments made by Ian. She did not renew her Five contract because the working relationship with Ian Wright became so intolerable. His allegations that she would not let him or Kate Walsh get a word in edgeways are ridiculous. Melinda loved working on the show but felt she had no other options but to bow out. This is not something we wished to talk about in the public arena but after these comments made by Ian Wright about Melinda’s professional performance, we felt we had absolutely no choice but to respond." I'm sensing we won't see them working together again!

Lindsay Lohan's mother Dina has spoken out about her daughter's lawsuit against E-Trade, which you might remember is about an ad they aired during the Superbowl with a 'milkaholic' baby called Lindsay. She reckons she's the only girl called Lindsay in the world, and wants $100 million from them for the great privilege of using her name (yes, she's actually serious).

Dina has weighed in to say: "She said, 'Mommy, help me. This is wrong. How can they do this?' They're little babies doing this, mocking another child who's just trying to survive Hollywood, basically. I'm just basically glad I took a stand. I'm not going to let them do this to us anymore." Now, here's Lindsay's problem in a nutshell - she's got some silly bitch of a mother telling her she's a child. She's a 23-year old woman, and she's crying over an advert?

Get a f***ing clue! Maybe if Lindsay spent more time crying over the career she p*ssed down the toilet instead of an advert, she wouldn't be in this predicament. Get a life and get a job!!!
