Coronation Street - John Thomson

Former 'Coronation Street' funnyman John Thomson and his wife Samantha Sharp have welcomed their second child overnight, a baby girl named Sophia Melody weighing 7lb 7oz.

Thomson confirmed that they and their older child (Olivia, 7) are "absolutely made up". It's a special joy for them, because they managed to conceive naturally after 3 failed IVF attempts.
