Amy drops Norway drugs appeal

Amy Winehouse has dropped a Norwegian legal case at the eleventh hour to focus on her rehabilitation and avoid appearing in court with ex-husband Blake Fielder-Civil. Wino was arrested in Bergen, Norway in October 2007 and paid £290 fines for possession of seven grams of marijuana. The "Tears Dry On Their Own" singer appealed the conviction because of the difficulties it created in obtaining an American visa, saying police bungled the arrest.

However, she's now dropped the case to focus fully on her rehabilitation. Johnny Ikon has a feeling she didn't want to face Blaaaake after being snapped with her new fella Joshua Bowman on holiday in St. Lucia.
