X Factor's winner in 2007, Leon Jackson, has been dumped from his record deal by Sony.
Leon's debut album Right Now sold a paltry 130,000 copies, while that year's runner-up Rhydian Roberts managed a decent 500,000 with his first disc. The 2006 winner, Leona Lewis, has sold an incredible 6.5 million worldwide, 2.7 million of which are in the UK alone.
Sony officially dropped Leon yesterday, but he isn't fazed: "I had a great year and learned so much recording and releasing my album. Every artist knows these things can go either way."
