Billie Piper and her husband Laurence Fox are settling into parenthood to their two-month old baby Winston with a relaxing break on the beach in Miami, Florida.

Meanwhile, back home in London, rumours are swirling that Piper will become the first female Doctor Who when Neil Tennant leaves the role at the end of 2009. He said Billie was a possibility as his replacement, commenting: "Why not? It's one of those parts any actor could bring something valid to, because it can be anything and it's a blank canvas every time."
