Oh no!!!!!!! Simon Cowell just had the WORST. IDEA. EVER.
Apparently, he wants to up the 'X Factor' panel to five judges (whaaaaaaaaaat?!), and the guy he's named as the perfect candidate is none other than Robbie Williams! Clearly blind to the disastrous performances BLOBbie has put in on this year's series of the show (including two unique entrances where he fluffed his lines, missed a cue and had to knock down the set to arrive onstage on time), Simon claims he has got "terrific instincts" and "is fun to be around".
He also wants to make the show even more dominant on the charts and TV schedules by extending the series by a month, having as many as 16 finalists and moving to a huge arena.
The changed show, which he thinks would work well at Wembley Arena or The O2, wouldn't have room for one existing judge though, because Simon reckons it's time to replace Dannii. She'd be replaced by a brand new female judge, perhaps Mel B as mentioned just yesterday.
To facilitate all these changes, Simon is demanding an extra £300,000 every week on the budgets from ITV, and he's decided if he doesn't get what he wants he'll axe the programme.
Do you like the sound of Simon's plans??? Or is he getting a bit too big for his boots? I think Robbie would be disastrous for the show, his performances were very unpopular and debate about his health and sobriety would ruin the show (as Paula Abdul's did on 'American Idol'). I like the idea of having shows in large arenas though, but maybe only for the final night, right?!
