Who remembers when Kate Thornton got the 'Loose Women' job, and I said she'd be crap?
Well, it seems that bosses at ITV have caught up with me and realised the same thing. I have exclusively learned from a network insider that she hasn't bonded with the show's close-knit crew, and there's a general feeling that television audiences have failed to "connect" with her.
My source reveals: "She just wasn't what we expected. She takes her role as the anchor too seriously and seems convinced she actually is the boss on the show. She is condescending."
The insider goes on: "She hasn't made an impact on viewers either. In fact, she's even been allowed to take holiday for the last couple of weeks even though it's her first series, because everyone thinks people aren't bothered if they watch her, or a stand-in like Ruth Langsford."
The criticism won't be a novelty to Kate, who was criticised as wooden and unfriendly before Simon Cowell sacked her on 'X Factor' in 2007. Will the same happen on 'Loose Women'??

I agree, Dermot needs to be replaced. Maybe a female presenter or possibly Peter Andre? Least he has something to do with music. Ant & Dec need to either do other things or slowly get replaced (NOT with Jedward!); they are more a nightmare to watch than enjoyable.
