Paul O'Grady leaves Channel 4 today!

Well, the last show's in the can and he's headed back to ITV!! Paul O'Grady completed the filming of his final programme for Channel 4 yesterday afternoon, with viewers scheduled to watch him bid farewell at 5pm this afternoon. As he finished, Paul spoke fondly of the show:

"It’s been an amazing 5 years – a lot of major things have happened – not to mention a heart attack, my partner Murphy dying, I got an MBE, I’m now a Granddad for  the second time!! – Buster leaving me to do a solo turn! My first book published! And of course all the awards we have won for the show including a Bafta.  Who would have thought it?
It is going to be strange to walk away from it.  The team who work on the show have become a bit of a family and we will all miss the craziness of it all."
