Pete Doherty is so broke that he's having to beg London's pub landlords to give him gigs.

The Libertines and Babyshambles frontman must have earned millions over the years, but sources reveal he's had to move into a dodgy flat underneath a key-cutter's shop in Camden.

One friend comments: "Pete is completely broke. He's found this squalid pad and he's doing shows for any cash landlords will offer." It's really tragic to hear this. He's wasted his talents.

Is Lindsay Lohan going to jail?

Mounting speculation that Lindsay Lohan will go to jail on Thursday is reaching fever pitch.

The judge in her DUI progress case, Marsha Revel, has held a further private meeting with Lindsay's lawyer Shawn Chapman Holley, and reportedly ordered her to appear in court on Thursday. Lindsay is presently in Cannes, and with the ongoing volcanic ash cloud situation, should expect to find that a number of flights out of France are cancelled over coming days.

Lindsay released a video at the weekend claiming to be in compliance with her probationary conditions, but reports suggest the judge doesn't agree and is inclined to find her in violation.

If Lindsay doesn't show up for any reason on Thursday, which is a distinct possibility in light of the ongoing problem with European flights, a warrant will almost certainly be issued for her arrest. If the judge finds that she's violated her probation, she's likely to face a lengthy jail sentence. So will she make it back to LA in time??? And is she in compliance or not? Drama!

Cheryl Cole is reportedly set to be paid a massive £250,000 for a 30-minute performance.

The 'Parachute' singer will make the appearance at a jewellery launch party in Cannes for De Grisogono, whose designs she was spotted wearing on the last series of X Factor. The gig, which will take place at the infamous Hotel du Cap during this week's film festival, will be in front of guests including Naomi Campbell and celebrities from the film and fashion worlds, and her Black Eyed Peas pal Will.i.am will be closeby in Monte Carlo while she's in France.

Bankrupt and twice-divorced at the age of 29, you may think Kerry Katona might exercise some caution before rushing into marriage again - but no, apparently she's ready to get right back on that horse. In tomorrow's issue of 'new!' magazine, the disgraced drug user reveals:

"I still want the marriage thing. I would love to do it again. I can’t imagine settling down with someone and getting married and not sharing a child with them. But I know I will find it so hard to trust another man again."

Errr, more kids?????????

Katie Price and Alex Reid are shagging lots, but it doesn't sound like any fun

Katie Price is so fixated on having a baby with Alex Reid that she's demanding sex up to seven times a day and has devised a timetable for shagging, claim Alex's concerned friends.

While Alex admits in his magazine column tomorrow that they're "visiting a clinic" for help conceiving after just three months of marriage, another source close to them both is claiming:

"She has gone baby crazy and won’t stop till she’s pregnant. It’s taking over her life. The chart states exactly when Kate is ‘ripe’, as Alex calls it, and when that happens they are at it six or seven times. Jordan has had several miscarriages in the past, but she is now desperate to be pregnant again. Alex says it’s got to the point where there’s no feeling involved and it’s just completely robotic. Kate wants to be pregnant by the time they have their wedding blessing in August."

To be honest, that doesn't sound like the kind of sex newlyweds should be enjoying. Her desperation for a baby attention will end up sending yet another marriage down the sh*tter!!!

Jennifer Hudson shows off her new 'Weight Watchers' body in Cannes

I'm not entirely sure why Jennifer Hudson is at the film festival in Cannes (presumably she's promoting her new Winnie Mandela biopic), but she has certainly been turning a few heads.

Her newly-slim figure is down to signing up as the new spokesbitch for Weight Watchers, which has clearly worked wonders for her. I'm glad she's still got a few sexy curves though!!

Mel B cements reunion with Eddie Murphy at the 'Shrek' premiere

Mel B cemented the recent thawing of relations between her and her babydaddy ex Eddie Murphy last night by turning up to his Hollywood premiere of new film, 'Shrek Forever After'.

She brought their daughter Angel with her, as well as her husband, older daughter Phoenix Chi and stepdaughter Gisele. Eddie also had his other kids with him, so it was a family affair!
