Ten years at the top!
Where is it?
Chinawhite is on Air Street, next to Dolce and Paper, and yards from Regent Street and Piccadilly Circus tube station.
What's it like?
Chinas is able to stand out from the competition with its Oriental-inspired decor and bright colours, but the truth is that it's not as cool as it was when it opened in 1998. It's still busy though, and despite the A-list moving on, you can still expect to see a crowd of glamour girls, models, WAGs and ex-reality TV 'stars'. The music leans a little too heavily towards r'n'b sometimes, but despite all this it's still the venue for many a good night. Footballers plus champagne still means a whole lotta fun, even if we're talking more West Ham and Tottenham players than Arsenal or Chelsea these days!
Why does Johnny Ikon love it?
It's an institution, Chinawhite on a Wednesday is still a guaranteed good night out. I even saw Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson there recently, proving it's still a long way from being a dead duck.
