Miami's South Beach comes to Chelsea

Review

Where is it?

Occupying the space previously known as Tryst on Fulham Broadway, Diva Beach is easily located from Earls Court, South Kensington and Fulham Broadway tube stations. Most of the clientele here are locals anyway.

What's it like?

Diva Beach is a small venue, with discreet bed areas to relax in and lots of white walls, marble and white leather seating, plus nods to the Art Deco style of yesteryear. There's a Champagne lounge too, which is more decadent with black leather couches, silver cushions, bronze mirrors and heavy chandeliers. It's certainly trying hard to impress, there are as many staff as guests! The crowd is mainly the usual Chelsea trustafarians and Sloanes, and the venue scores big points with its appointment of Sam Young to manage the music policy. Order a personalised bottle of champagne at Swarovski crystals if you're feeling flash (a snip at £10,000), or go for the house cocktail, a Divatini. It's a sour apple martini with vodka, cointreau and ginger, served with apple slices and frozen grapes.
