Cool, contemporary, Camden's finest...

Review

Where is it?

Gilgamesh is located in the Stables area of Camden market, and affords great views of the colourful locale from its restaurant and bars. It's easily reached from Camden Town tube station.

What's it like?

Attracting the A-list into otherwise grubby Camden, Gilgamesh packs in the likes of Kelly Rowland, Kylie and Paris Hilton to enjoy its exotic, dark-wood interiors and pan-Asian cuisine. The Gao Choy dumplings are gorgeous, and the Alaskan King Crab hand rolls not to be missed. I also love the apple, fig and blackberry martini! Prices are high given the Camden locale, but nothing compared to its counterparts in Central.

Why does Johnny Ikon love it?

Camden is a welcome escape from W1 sometimes - it's edgy and cool, but still reassuringly luxurious if you do it the Gilgamesh way.

Some say this place is style over substance, but I disagree. The food rocks!
